Homemade Veggie Burgers Recipe

Try these homemade veggie burgers and you’ll never go back to those frozen store bought ones.

Ingredients:


1 (15 oz.) Can Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed


1/2 Cup Mushroom, finely chopped


1/2 Cup Rolled Oats


1 Carrot, shredded


1/4 Cup Onion, finely chopped


1/2 Cup Red Bell Pepper, chopped


2 Tbsp. Tomato Paste or Ketchup


1 Garlic Clove, minced


1/2 tsp. Salt


Pepper to taste


Directions:


Using a food process or blender, add the beans, mushrooms, oats, carrot, onion, bell pepper, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and pepper.


Pulse until coarsely chopped.  Chill mixture for 5 minutes then shape into 4 patties.  (Can wrap up and freeze or cook now).


Broil for 10 to 15 minute or grill.

Serve just the way you like it, with a bun, with cheese, lettuce, tomato, or any other ingredient.


Remember that any burger tastes better with cheese, you’re always welcome to add your favorite American, Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Swiss to any burger if desired.
